The SANAT Champs are scheduled for 12-16 April 2023 – Newton Park, 50m indoor swimming pool.

Please take note of the following important information:

NOTES:

5.5.1. Swimmers may enter the events that they have a SA Senior National “A” qualifying times for, plus 4 (four) additional events, EXCEPT 200 Fly, 400 IM, 400, 800 AND 1500 FREESTYLE, SWIMMERS MAY ONLY ENTER THESE EVENTS IF THEY HAVE ACHIEVED THE QUALIFYING TIME. Swimmers must have times on the database for all entered events.
5.5.2. The age group 17-24 will form part of the competition, but are not eligible for provincial colours.
5.5.2.1. Swimmers must achieve one SA Senior National “B” qualifying time for this age group to compete at these championships.
5.5.2.2. Swimmers may enter the events that they have qualifying times for, plus 4 (four) additional events, EXCEPT 200 Fly, 400 IM, 400, 800 AND 1500 FREESTYLE, SWIMMERS MAY ONLY ENTER THESE EVENTS IF THEY HAVE ACHIEVED THE QUALIFYING TIME. Swimmers must have times on the database for all entered events.
5.5.2.3. No 17 – 24 age group finals will be swum, but the top three times from this age category at the end of the heats will receive medals.
